Filming: Day 2

On our second day of filming, we focused on finishing the shots for the innocent side of our character. It was mostly the shots we didn't get around to filming on Day 1.

However, we didn't manage to film the manic / menacing as we needed a new costume; we'd also been filming for a long time already and realised that unless we wanted to be there a lot longer than planned we couldn't finish the video all that day.

We had some trouble with certain shots; especially the shot where she finds the baseball bat. We used a white light torch to give us some extra light in the alcove we were using, which was better than using the lights in the room as that would've been too yellow and looked unnatural. Although our lighting was good, we couldn't decide which angle to use to film from; we tried both angles and will decide which looks best after input from a few others.

Another shot we couldn't get right was the shot that matches the line I jumped at the slightest of sounds; we wanted her to lip sync the line and then flinch afterwards as though the door to the room she was in was opened by someone unexpectedly. All the shots we did were too fake, it didn't look like she was actually scared by something, more of an over dramatic jump scare. In the end we decided that she should just turn her head slowly to look at the door, it finally worked and we were happy with the shot.
