Camila Cabello Website
I'm analysing Camila Cabello's website because she's my favourite solo artist and her site is actually a really good example.
She has five sections to her website. Unlike other websites she doesn't have different set pages for each section, she has them on one long page. The menu on the home section has the different sections and if you click them it takes you down the page to the start of that area. The sections are:
- Home
- Music
- Videos
- Tour
- Photos
The home page is simple, nothing but her name at the top, a small menu and one of her photos from a photoshoot she did before releasing her first single as a solo artist.
Scrolling down it goes to her latest single, Havana and several links to where it can be bought/streamed. It has the album cover and the name, using the same font as the album does. There is also four social links at the top: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Spotify.
The first section below the homepage, is music. It displays the four singles released, along with a Spotify player, the name of the song, a link to buy the song and how to share it on Facebook or Twitter.
The next section is videos. It has Havana as the first video but if you use the buttons either side you can pick between Havana and Crying In The Club. This would take you to her YouTube video, which of course is linked to her account which is then easy to access and peruse.
Her tour part is very much simple like many artist tour sites are. She's got the date, location, city and where to buy them.
Next is her gallery essentially, it only has four photos currently. All from different photoshoots. The far left being the most recent.
The following section is her news. It features stories about her, such as her latest music videos, future performances, her campaign with GUESS and any other appearances she has. You can share it and read the whole article.
Her final section is her social media. It's got her username at the top instead of a title. The feed is her Instagram page with her latest posts on there.
Her last part of the site is her subscription to a newsletter. It also has the legal jargon at the bottom and her record label Epic's logo. As well as a small list of the main people in her team, such as her manager and agents.
