Digipak Research: Little Mix

Little Mix has released a digipak as part of their Glory Days Platinum edition and I have decided to analyse it for my media project.

This is the front cover. As you can see it features the name of the artist, the name of the album and the edition it is. We aren't sure if we are going to include those in our digipak as we wanted to go for a more simple design. It does feature the band on the front which is the same idea we had; have our artist on the front cover as the main focus of the panel.

The back cover features the track list along with the legal jargon on the back. We would incorporate the legal jargon and features on our digipak, but our plan is to style the tracklist inside the digipak and without numbers, and not in a paragraph form.

This is mostly a focus on the spine. All it has is the names of the artist + album + edition of the CD. It also has the serial number of the CD. It is very similar to all the other spines I have researched for our digipak, so the same content on ours will be the same. However, we may not put it directly in the centre of the spine, spreading it out instead.

Inside the digipak it's very similar to what we want to include; a common background theme, colours being the same / themed along with photos over the top. Again the focus on the artist is exactly what we want to include so this was a good digipak to analyse in that retrospect.
