- use of mine en scene: colour red to suggest personality, as well as makeup and accessories. Wanted to portray a character more interested in their appearance and conform to the "picture perfect" idea of electropop music videos and the performers within them. Developed conventions - modern

- used more saturated and plain colours to reflect the mood of our character, mise en scene: white, no accessories/bling, no makeup; positioning: shadows, creating darkness, reflecting "shadows and monsters"
